Background
Christelle Harkema is a PhD student at the Eindhoven University of Technology (The Netherlands). She obtained her Bsc and Msc degree in Industrial Design Engineering at the Technical University of Delft. During her master the focus was on ergonomics and research. Afterwards she worked several years at a Dutch design agency as a usability specialist.
In October 2007 Christelle started her PhD within a joined project ‘Design for Usability’, with particular interest in usability decision-making in design practice.
