Background

Christelle graduated in August 2005 as industrial designer at the Technical University Delft. During her master the focus was on ergonomics and research. She conducted her final thesis at the design office Indes in Enschede (NL) where she afterwards worked for tow years as a usability consultant.

In October 2007 Christelle started her PhD at the department Industrial Design of the University of Eindhoven. In the project Design for Usability her research will focus on use problems that occur during the interaction between user and product. Investigating ways of preventing these use problems is the main goal of her project.
