Decision-Making

Decision-Making

Usability issues result from decisions made during the development process. In this PhD research project Christelle Harkema investigated the influences of uncertainty and unawareness on decision-making in design practice. This resulted in a specification of types of unawareness that influence usability related decisions. Addressing these types of unawareness improves usability decisions and consequently product usability will be improved.
